With the mission to secure hope and peace for the people by stably supplying petroleum and securing national energy since its establishment in 1979, KNOC has been implementing E&G projects, stockpiling projects, petroleum distribution structure improvement projects, and other supplementary projects.

For fulfilling the social responsibility roles, KNOC has the conviction that the enterprises should contribute to the sustainable advancement of the global community as well as the domestic community through compliance with the Ten Principles of UNGC in human rights, labor, environment, and the anti-corruption field since its joining the UNGC in August. 2007.

To this end, KNOC is leading CCs projects using its unique capabilities and experience in the resource development field, keeping pace with the trend of carbon neutrality era, and as taking on key roles in energy resource security. Moreover, KNOC will expand to become a new driving force for growth in the new renewable energy field by redeveloping the East Sea Gas Field as an offshore wind power generation complex.

Furthermore, KNOC also endeavors to implement a smart business environment suitable for the 4th Industrial Revolution era along with endeavoring to prevent accidents and practice safe and responsible management by all officers and employees, including workers in stockpiling bases, the national core infrastructure for managing strategic oil reserves.
